Virat Kohli has three records he may record in the upcoming India-Australia test series.

Virat Kohli has played 20 Tests against Australia to date, scoring 1682 runs at an average of 48.05. He has the most hundreds in Tests against Australia. As of right now, he has five fifty-plus scores and seven centuries against Australians. Additionally, he would surpass Sachin Tendulkar's record of 11 hundreds against Australia in Test matches if he scores five more centuries in the following eight innings. Sachin got 11 hundreds in 39 tests.

India's highest total in Test cricket: With 15921 runs achieved in 200 games, Master Blaster Sachin Tendulkar leads India most runs scored in Test cricket. On the list of top run scorers are Sachin, Rahul Dravid, Sunil Gavaskar, VVS Laxman, and Virender Sehwag. Virat Kohli, meanwhile, has 8119 runs in 104 games. In the forthcoming series, if he can score 364 runs, he will surpass Sehwag's record of 8503 runs and move up to fifth place among Indian players in the red-ball format of the game.
