Babar Azam selected as the best cricketer..!

 The shortlist for last year's (2022) International Cricket Council Player of the Year Award is being released. According to this, Pakistan captain Babar Azam has been selected as the best player in men's cricket for the last year.

In the last year, he has amassed 2,598 runs including 8 centuries and 17 fifties in all types of internationals (ODIs, T20s, Tests). With this, he has won this award. He has also been selected as the best ODI player. He is receiving this award for the 2nd time in a row. He had already received this award in 2021.

For last year England captain Ben Stokes has been selected as the best Test player of the year. England Women's captain Nat Cheever bagged the double awards of last year's Women's Cricketer of the Year and ODI Player of the Year.
